Mrs. Lucille V. Woodin, 80, of Kalkaska, died Fri, Jun 11, 1993 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. 

Mrs. Woodin had been a resident of Kalkaska County since 1953 after moving from Muskegon. She worked as a volunteer for the Department of Social Services and the Kalkaska Probate Court. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in South Boardman and the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Kalkaska. She enjoyed sewing, cards, and bingo. 

She was born on Mar 11, 1913, in Muskegon, to Charles and Matilda LeMeiux Schrebe. On May 10, 1936, she married Niles Woodin in Kalamazoo. He preceded her in death on Feb 25, 1967. 

Surviving are three sons, George of Kalkaska, Richard of Fredericksburg, TX, and Glen of South Boardman; two step daughters, Marion Lake of Hinckley, IL and Maxine Wilson of Muskegon; one brother, Albert Schrebe of Muskegon; 26 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. 

One step daughter, Shirley Sanford, and one sister, Katherine Goranson, preceded her in death. 

Funeral services were held Mon, Jun 14, at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Father Patrick Barrett and Wes Beasley officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, South Boardman. 

Memorial contributions may be given to the Kalkaska County Commission on Aging.
