Lucille Mott, 78, of Kalkaska passed away on Jul 4, 2003, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
She was born on Nov 9, 1925, in Springfield, MN, the daughter of George and Rose (Schwab) Dussl.
Lucille married Sanford Mott in Sep 1970. They were residents of Kalkaska, moving from Algonac in 1970. Sanford preceded Lucille in death.
Lucille was a member of St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, CETA and a past Coldsprings Township treasurer. She was an avid quilter and belonged to the Blue Lake Quilters Club. Lucille truly enjoyed her church and all types of needle work.
Lucille is survived by her children, Art (Sharon) Owens of New Baltimore, Margaret (Thomas) Stanek of Algonac, Carol Owens of Clinton Township, and Thomas (Linda) Owens of Chesterfield Township; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a dear friend, Romane Domke of East Jordan.
Visitation was on Sun and Mon, Jul 6-7, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The Mass of Christian Burial was on Tue, Jul 8, at St Mary of the Woods Church. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery in Algonac.
