Mrs. Louise J. Wilkinson, 68 of Kalkaska, died Wednesday, Oct 4, 1989, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mrs. Wilkinson lived in Marlette for many years prior to moving to Bradenton, FL. She moved to Kalkaska in 1981. She enjoyed bingo, cards, and crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Mrs. Wilkinson was born in Lenawee County on August 26, 1921, to Lewis and Jenetta Cole Lester. She married Carlisle Wilkinson in Marlette on June 16, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1985.
Surviving are two sons, Leonard and Roger both of Kalkaska; one daughter, Donna Waters of Loveland, CO; six brothers, Richard Lester, James Lester, and Leland Lester all of Kingston, Lewis Lester of Mancelona, Leslie Lester of Marlette, and Lawrence Lester of North Branch; one sister, Eunice Wills of Bellaire; six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
One brother preceded her in death.
