Louise Irene Massie, 79, of Kalkaska passed away Sat, Nov 29, 2003, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-Long Term Care.
She was born Oct 17, 1925, in Bendon, the daughter of William and Charlotte (Beaton) Knop.
Louise was a resident of Kalkaska since 1967. She enjoyed reading science fiction, listening to books on tape, like animals, playing bingo, crocheting, crafts, making baskets, and baking bread.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Patricia (James) Judd of Kalkaska; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Geraldine (Martin) Tezak of Bendon, Addiline Haskins of Pontiac, Lyman Knop of NC, Herbert Knop of Union Lake, Wilma McKnight of Pontiac, and Ralph Knop of AZ.
Louise was preceded in death by her son, Robert Massie; and siblings, Fred Knop, Leona Hearsh, Donna Hendershot, Kenneth Knop, and Teresa Knop.
A memorial service was held on Dec 2, 2003, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska.
