Lonzo Dine, 86, of Fife Lake died suddenly Thursday morning at his home here following a short illness.
Mr. Dine was born September 25, 1877, in Cassopolis, the son of Robert C. and Sarah E. Dine. He moved with his parents to Fife Lake and from there to Springfield Township in Kalkaska County. He was a farmer all his life until the last three years.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Nora Bourne of Fife Lake, and many nieces and nephews. Five brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Smith Funeral Home, Kingsley with Rev. Eugene Welzig of Manton officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery, Springfield Township.
