Former Kalkaska resident Lon Schreur died of cancer Dec 9, 1998, at his home in Denver, CO. He was 55.
Mr. Schreur graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1961 and then attended Michigan State University. He was CEO of United Capital in Denver.
He is survived by his son Lon Schreur Jr of Kansas City, daughter Mary Schreur Ford of Denver, and brother Fred Schreur and sister Susan Reidsema, both of Florida.
