Mrs. Lois O. Chaney, 83, of Rapid City, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1990 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mrs. Chaney had been a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska and Rapid City areas. She studied pipe organ at the Detroit Conservatory of Music, and enjoyed Music, and enjoyed music, reading, and animals.
Mrs. Chaney was born in Kalkaska on Sept. 28, 1907, to Ottis and Martha Cross White. She was married in Bellaire in 1949, to Richard Chaney who preceded her in death in 1962.
One sister, Bernice Campbell, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one niece, Mary Jane Formiller of Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov 19, at the Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
Funeral arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
