Mrs. Lois J. Hall, 65, of Kalkaska, died Thursday, June 28, 1990, at Mercy Hospital in Grayling.
Mrs. Hall moved to Kalkaska in 1980 from Flint. She had been employed by A.C. Spark Plug in Flint prior to her retirement in 1977. She was a member of the Blue Lake Township Planning and Zoning Board, the Blue Lake Township Fire Department Auxiliary, KEMSA, and Local 651 U.A.W.
Mrs. Hall was born in Barryton, Mich. on July 9, 1924, to Melvin and Grace Helmer Fletcher. On. Aug. 24, 1974, in Flint, she was married to Basil Hall. He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1988.
Surviving are four sons, Darwin Beckett of Great Falls, Montana, Basil Hall, Jr. and James Hall both of Flint, and Donald Hall of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Marion Fritcher of Titusville, Fla., and Deborah Culbert of Flint; her mother, Grace Burgess of Flint; one brother, Bud Key of Fenton; one sister, Nova Valenti of Grand Blanc; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 2, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
