Lloyd D. Huston, 83, of Kalkaska, passed away on Fri, Mar 31, 2006, at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
He was born on Jul 29, 1922, to Guy and Mable (Schryer) Huston.
On Mar 29, 1944, he married Helen Fralick, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Doris, and her husband, Donald Fuerst of Kentwood; sister, and brother in law, Maurietta and Paul Birgy of Manton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald.
Lloyd served his country honorably during WWII. He was employed by the Kalkaska County Road Commission for 36 years. Upon his retirement he took great pleasure in the outdoors working in his yard and gardening. He was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ.
Visitation and funeral service have taken place at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska, with Dan Johnson and Jeff Badgero officiating form the Kalkaska Church of Christ. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
