Lin J. Abbe, age 69, of Grand Blanc, passed away Fri, Jun 11, 2004 at his home. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Fri, Jun 18, 2004 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc, Pastor Robert Daughen-baugh officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Thu from 3 to 9 pm and Friday from 11 am until the time of service. Lin was born Feb 12, 1935 in St. Ignace, MI to Roy and Eva (Dunn) Abbe. Family was very important to Lin. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His other interests included hunting and fishing. In his earlier years, Lin was a realtor and later finished his career in water softener sales. He is survived by: daughter, Terri (Mark) Walsh of Troy; son, Darin (Amanda) Abbe of Davison; 6 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Bute, Dody, and Betty. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Sandra; and 9 siblings.
