Lester E. Bossardet, 77, of Houghton Lake Heights and formerly of Kalkaska, died Dec. 18, 1989 at Mercy Manor Long Term Care in Grayling.
Mr. Bossardet was a tool and die maker for Pontiac Motor Division before retiring. He was affiliated with Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church.
He was born on May 7, 1912 in Detroit to Edward and Beryl Cross Bossardet. On July 5, 1983 he was married to Bessie Evans in Mansfield, OH who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Robert Martin Bossardet of Marysville; three daughters, Marilyn Joyce Rolph of Birmingham, Shirley Jean Barber of St. Augustine, FL, and Patricia Ann Chadderton of Loveland, CO; two brothers, Edward of Oxford and Douglas of Rochester and one sister, Fern Smith of Houghton Lake; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Wilma.
Funeral services were held on Dec 20 at Steuernol Axford-McLaren Funeral Home in Prudenville. Pastor Dale E. Farley officiated. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
