Leon E. Walch, 90, of Traverse City, died on Dec 20, 2007, at his home in Traverse City.
Leon was born on Aug 4, 1917 in Detroit to the late Charles and Flora (Aldridge) Walch. He married Arlene Pellerin on Oct 23, 1943 in Toledo. Prior to her death in 2006 they were married almost 63 years.
For most of Leon’s life he was a proud salesman for Electrolux and at hone time the second highest sales person in the country. Also, he was a proud member of the Elks in Traverse City.
Surviving Leon is a brother in law, Armand Pellerin; nieces and nephews, Marlene Brunet, Charles Pellerin, Dale Paquette, Kathy Agnello, Dennis Pellerin, and Yvonne Hanson.
Services will take place for Leon today at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home from 11 am to 2 pm.
Burial will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens immediately following. Memorial contributions may be directed to Munson Hospice.
