Mrs. Leeta M. Fudge, 103, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, died Apr 30, 1998, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Fudge was a graduate of Western Michigan College and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed word search puzzles.
Born in Kalkaska County on Feb 11, 1895, she was the daughter of Augustus and Neva Dumond Hauenstein. On Nov 17, 1919, in Flint, she was united in marriage with Paul Fudge, who preceded her in death Aug 18, 1973.
Surviving are nephews Kent Rosenberg of Kalkaska and Lance Garrett of Florida and niece Ruby Lannin of Traverse City.
Sisters Irma Rosenberg and Ilene Garrett preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held May 3 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Charles Stanley officiated. Burial was in Excelsior Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
