Lee Raymond Rau, 27, of Kalkaska, died unexpectedly Oct 24, 1999.
Lee had accomplished many goals in his short life. He was an Eagle Scout; graduated from Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo in 1991; completed Job Corps training in carpentry, and was employed by Northern A-1 Services in Kalkaska.
Surviving are parents C. Raymond and Carlene Rau; sisters Melanie of Grand Rapids, and Briana of Iron Mountain; brother Glen of Traverse City; nephew Marcus; nieces OgJanea and Kigana; aunts and uncles and many cousins; grandmother Kay Wilson; grandfather Paul Britt St. and their family of Flint.
A memorial service will be 10 am Sat, Dec 4 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am.
His gentle ways and friendly smile will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
