Leatrice Joy Grimshaw, age 79, of Vassar, MI went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tue, Aug 10, 2010. She was born in Greenville, PA on Dec 6, 1930 to Dana and Helen (Lynch) Clark. She married Garfield Willis Teddy Jr on Mar 13, 1948, then she married Rev. Herbert Grimshaw in 2000.
Leatrice was a member of Vassar Nazarene Church, loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed cake decorating, choir sings, church activities, and making baked beans.
She is survived by her two children: Penny (Bruce) Patridge of Vassar and Garfield (Beverley) Teddy III of Brant, MI, two sisters: Betty and Barbara, nineteen stepchildren, twelve grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, and seven step great great grandchildren, her pastor: David (Eleanor) Wermuth and her loving caring church family.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Garfield Teddy Jr and Rev. Herbert Grimshaw, two daughters: Cheryl Lee Teddy and Georganna Torry. She had twin great grandsons born the day after her passing.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Sat, Aug 28, 2010 at 1 pm with visitation beginning at 11 am at the Vassar Nazarene Church with Pastor David Wermuth officiating.
Memorials may be made to Vassar Nazarene Church Building Fund or American Diabetes Association.
