Lawrence K. Tipton, 70, of Kalkaska, died Oct 21, 1998, at his home.
Mr. Tipton was was born in Kalkaska on Sep 12, 1928, the son of the late John and Sarah Phinney Tipton.
He served with the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Surviving are brother Harold Tipton of Portage; sister Patsy Robertson of Traverse City; and close friend Russell Smith of Kalkaska.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
