Mr. LaVerne G. Sieweke of Millington, passed away on, Feb 12, 2007 at Brian’s house in Davison, MI. LaVerne was 89. LaVerne was a Master Sergeant under General Patton in the European Theater of WWII. He is survived by wife, Beulah, whom he married Jun 26, 1941, of Melvin. Also surviving are: two daughters and son in law, Suzanne and Gary Gleason of Belding and Roseanne and Jerry Bean of Flushing; three grandchildren, Aaron Gleason, Rebecca Veldhoff, and Jennifer Harrell; three great grandchildren, Ashton Mead, Allie and Summer Harrell; one brother, Clinton Sieweke of Conyers, GA.
Honoring LaVerne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting the Sieweke family.
