HALL, Laurence S. - Age 82, a resident of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Grand Blanc, passed away, Sunday, May 19, 2002 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, FL. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, May 24, 2002 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Pastor Scott Arnold officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 11-3 and 6-9PM, and Friday 10AM until time of service at the funeral home. Laurence was born October 26, 1919, the son of Raymond Hall and Gladys Scott. Laurence and Frances Coon were united in marriage June 14, 1941 in Goodrich, MI. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Grand Blanc. Mr. Hall. was a member of the Carpenters' Union for 30 years. He enjoyed golf and bowling. Surviving are: his wife of 60 years, Frances; 5 children, Ronald (Linda) Hall, David (Marilyn) Hall, Gary (Tami) Hall, Susan and (Glenn) Gothard, Gregory Hall; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
