Larry B. Forbes, 57, of Kalkaska died Sat, Jul 26, 1997, at his residence.
Mr. Forbes spent his early years in Kalkaska, and then moved to Traverse City. He returned to Kalkaska in 1982. He was a retired construction worker, and enjoyed picking mushrooms and watching western adventures.
Born in Kalkaska on Jan 16, 1940, he was the son of Laurie and Bernice Blanchard Forbes.
Surviving are daughters Christine Forbes of TX, Michelle Jones and Lisa Forbes both of Kalkaska; brother Donald Forbes of Manistee; sisters Lula Plamondon of Traverse City and Nancy Ingersoll of Kingsley; six grandchildren; and his former wife Regina Forbes of Kalkaska.
Sons, Michael and Ben Larry Forbes and brothers, Val Jean and Harold Forbes preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska
