Kyle Justin Butler, 64, passed away Nov 9, 2000, at Fairfax Hospital in Church Falls, VA.
The son of Norman and Hazel (Sandeen) Butler, he was born in South Boardman Aug 3, 1936.
After graduating from Kalkaska High School he spent six years in the U.S. Army, stationed most of the time in Virginia. There he met and married Joy Carney, who passed away in Jan 1995.
Memorial services were Nov 12 in the chapel of the DeMain Funeral Home in Springfield, VA. Although a member of the Lutheran Church, services were performed by Kyle's very dear friend, Rabbi Bruce Aft.
He was a devoted husband and son and will be missed by his family and friends.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a special cousin, Sherry Sandeen of Southfield, and many other relatives.
Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
