Mrs. Chopson was a graduate of Wabash High School. She had worked at General Tire of Wabash for 35 years.
She was born Apr 2, 1921, in Wabash to Irvin and Ellen Clark Long. She married Dale Chopson on August 20, 1941. Her husband preceded her in death on Jun 3, 1973.
Survivors include a son, Douglas (Barbara) Chopson of Wabash; three daughters, Pamela Sue Chopson of North Manchester; Cheryl Chopson of Andrews, and Kathy (Mike) Eviston of Wabash; a sister, Elsie Harmon of Wabash; five grandchildren, Scott (Refa) Chopson of Huntington, Jay (Tanya) Eviston of Wabash, Mitchell (Leah) Eviston of Woodbury, MN, Shannon (Mark) Clifton of Bippus, and Doug Chopson Jr of Andrews; nine great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
