Mrs. Kathryn J. Gohlke, 72, of Kalkaska, died Thursday, July 5, 1990, at Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility.
Mrs. Gohlke lived in Interlochen until 1962, when she moved to Kalkaska. She was a member of the Peoples Church in Kalkaska, and the Kalkaska Senior Citizens.
She was born in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio on November 28, 1917, to Corvans and Adeline Walker Woodward. She was married on February 2, 1946, in Findlay, Ohio to Howard Gohlke who preceded her in death on May 16, 1974.
Surviving are one daughter, Janice Aylsworth of Traverse City; two stepdaughters, Sandra DePugh of Findlay, Ohio, and Delnora Lindley of Calif.; two brothers, Leo (Barney) Woodward of VanBuren, Ohio, and Robert Woodward of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, JoAnn Mabry of Milan; and two grandchildren.
One brother, Harold (Woody) Woodward, and one sister, Mildred (Sis) Koby, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 7, 1990, at the Peoples Church in Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Peoples Church or the Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility.
