Mrs. Judith Ann Angell, 41, of Kalkaska, died Saturday evening, Aug. 26, 1989, at her residence.
Mrs. Angell was a 1966 graduate of Decatur High School, and received her teaching degree from Central Michigan University in 1970. She had been a teacher in the Kalkaska Public School System for the past 15 years. Mrs. Angell was a member of the Kalkaska Education Association, the Michigan Education Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, American Foreign French Association, American Modern English Association, and the Northern Foreign Education Association. She was affiliated with the Kalkaska Church of Christ.
Mrs. Angell was born in Paw Paw on July 10, 1948, to Doyle and Beverly Stickels Wilder. On March 28, 1970, in Kalkaska, she was married to Milton Angell who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Anne Marie Angell at home; her mother, Beverly Whitlock of Decatur; one half brother, Michael Whitlock of Decatur; two half sisters, Jody Wilder of South Boardman, and Sharon O'Konski of Decatur; her paternal grandmother, Beatrice Wilder of Decatur; her stepmother, Lee Wilder of South Boardman; her step grandparents, William and Beryle Ickes of Kalkaska.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Clinton Wilder; three half brothers, David, Charles, and Mark Wilder, and one half sister, Shannon Wilder.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 29 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
