Judith Ann Conner, age 74, of Imlay City, MI passed away after a courageous battle with heart disease and diabetes on Mon, Sep 14, 2015 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital. Judith Ann Roberts was born Nov 20, 1940 in Lapeer, MI. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Lois (Bird) Roberts. Judy grew up in lake Orion. She was a graduate of the Lake Orion High School, Class of 1959. Judy married William Douglas Conner, Sr on Oct 27, 1962 in Lapeer, MI. They have lived most of their lives in the Imlay City area. Judy had worked for Lapeer Metal Products in auto parts assembly. She retired in the late 1990s after 20+ years. Judy enjoyed reading, camping, up-north (the Oscoda & Curran areas) and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: her husband: Bill Conner of Imlay City; daughters, Jennifer Lynn (Andrew) Fyke of Imlay City and Sheri Marie (Tim) Sample of Brown City; sons: William D (Melissa) Conner Jr of North Branch and Franklin Lloyd Conner of Brown City; sisters: Jill (Tom) Baier of Kingsley, MI and Brenda (Les) Burgess of Attica; grandchildren: Brandi Conner, Seth Conner, Molly Conner, Chole Conner, Sonya Monte, Alyssa Hartman, Elijah Sample, Justin Sample, Sophia Sample; great grandchildren: Emma Hartman and Loukas Hartman. Judy was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth and Lois Roberts; and an infant brother. Funeral service will be held 11 am Fri, Sep 18, 2015 at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City. Gene Sample and Chuck Herpolshimer, pastors of Light of Christ Community Church will officiate. Burail will follow in the Arcadia Township Cemetery, Lum, Mi.
