Joyce Anderson, 75, of Petoskey, died May 26, 2005 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
Funeral service will be 4pm Sat, May 28, at Stone Funeral Home in Petoskey. The Rev. David Behling will officiate.
Joyce was born December 11, 1929 in Marshall, MI, the daughter of Harold and Mary (Annis) Reed. She grew up in Marshall and attended school in Marshall, where she graduated.
On August 20, 1949, she married Robert Anderson in Petoskey. He preceded her in death in 1994. Joyce lived in Petoskey for many years, where she worked at Northern Michigan Hospital in the laundry department for 20 years until she retired. Along with her husband they also owned and operated the Sandwich Grill in Petoskey for six years.
Joyce is survived by five children, Marsha Mosley and her husband Rudy, of AZ, Mary Anderson of Petoskey, Marie Shively and her husband Norm of NV, Marty Ravencroft of TX, Marilyn Strange and her husband David of IL; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Neal.
