Josephine R. Montgomery, 60, of Rapid City, died Tue, Apr 10, 2001, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mrs. Montgomery was born Jun 26, 1940, in Boyne Falls, the daughter of Lewis and Stella (Coon) Magee.
She had worked for many years at Northpoint Plastics in Kalkaska.
She moved to Rapid City from Mancelona in 1971.
On Jan 25, 1958, in Boyne City she married Burton Montgomery, who died in 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Marshall Magee.
Surviving are children, Ronald Freeman, Carolyn (Brian) Duke of Rapid City; Teresa (Tony) Walden of Alden; brothers, Emerald (Marlene) Magee of Traverse City and Hershall Magee of Bellaire; sister Fannie Mae Udell of Traverse City; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Apr 13 at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Bill Smith officiated. Interment was in Lakeview Cemtery, Bellaire.
