John “Jack” Weber, 74, of Grawn, passed away on Sun, Aug 26, 2018 at his home. Jack was born on Mar 2, 1944 on the family farm.
He was the son of John J and Mildred J Weber. At the Kingsley Baptist Church on Sep 26, 1964, Jack married Juanita Morgan.
He retired from the Grand Traverse County Road Commission.
Jack loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and working on cars.
Jack is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Juanita Weber; his daughter, Jacquelyn (Ken) Davis of Grawn; his son, John J (Amy) Weber of Greenville, SC; two grandsons, Cole and Nathanial Weber; two granddaughters, Kelsey and Breanna Weber; his sister, Penny (Dave) Bliss of West Branch; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, James Weber; and three sisters, Elizabeth Saxton, Shirley Gamache, and Yvonnie Allen.
Visitation will be held today, Aug 29, 2018, from 5 to 8 pm, at the Covell Funeral Home Kingsley. Funeral services will be held on Thu, Aug 30, 2018 at 1 pm with visitation at noon, also at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley. Pastor Tim Jahn will officiate. Private family burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
