John Nays, 84, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Sep 11, 1994, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Nays was born in Kingston, NY on Feb 21, 1910, son of the late Joseph and Angeline Horvath Nays. He was married on Oct 21, 1939, in Detroit, to Elizabeth Bahor who survives.
Mr. Nays was employed by the Chrysler Corporation prior to his retirement in 1970. He moved to Kalkaska County 14 years ago from Detroit. He was a member of the A.A.R.P. and enjoyed working with electronics.
Besides his wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by one son, John Ronald Nays of Alanson; two daughters, Luanne Grazioso of Huber Heights, OH, and Noelle Procopio of Troy; four sisters, Elizabeth Vass of Florida, Anna Reynolds of San Diego, CA, Margaret Graham of Bountiful, UT, and Violet Soukikian of Las Vegas, NV; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
No services are planned.
