John H. Baldwin, 75, of Mancelona, died Sunday, Feb 3, 1991, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mr. Baldwin moved to Kalkaska County in 1977 from Warren. He was employed as the treasurer of James H. Kurtz Steel Company prior to his retirement in 1977. His hobbies included wood working, gardening, reading, and the outdoors.
Mr. Baldwin was born in Chicago, Il, on Nov 7, 1915, to Arthur and Marian Haley Baldwin. On Jul 24, 1971, in Warren, he was united in marriage with Alle Plec, who survives. +Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, John II of West Bloomfield; one daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Nancy) Kinzie of Noblesville, IN; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Ralph (Halina) Ciccotelli of Utica, Mrs. Wiley (Maryann) Brooks of Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Janice Walczy of Utica, and Mrs. Oscar (Anne Marie) Theander of Novi; one brother, Robert (Dave) Baldwin of Royal Oak; one sisters, Mrs. George (Jane) McVey of Wilmington, Del; 14 stepgrandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One sister, Barbara Brunk, preceded him in death.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Heart Unit of Munson Medical Center.
