John Gilbert Winchester of Mesa, AZ died Aug 19, 2007 at the age of 87. John was born in Walton Junction Feb 9, 1920 to Clyde and Harriett (Jolly) Winchester. He graduated from Cadillac High School in 1938 and served in the U.S. Air Force four years as a Staff Sargent in WWII.
H is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josephine Stephanie (Mihalic) Winchester; three daughters, Barbara Hess of Mesa, Susan Winchester of Colorado Springs, CA, and Janice Dooley, Scottsdale, AZ; three grandchildren, James Dooley, Jennifer Dooley, Vicky Mikita, Tony and Jim Pardy; three great grandchildren, Kayla and Kassidy Mikita, and Madison Pardy.
He was precede in death by a grandson, Lewis Mikita; two brothers, Glen and Ed Winchester, and two sisters, Leone Fuller and Wilma Johnson and several in laws.
Funeral services will be held Fri, Aug 24, 2007 in Mesa, AZ.
