John F Frey, 69, of Kalkaska, passed away on Sep 16, 2005 at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Born on Nov 5, 1935, in St Mary's, PA, he was the son of Anthony and Elizabeth (Hersing) Frey.
John was a veteran, serving our country in the US Army. He was a truck driver, firefighter and overall handyman. John enjoyed gardening, lawn care, being "outdoors," the National Trout Festival, and working on his daughters farm.
Surviving John is his daughter, Belinda L (Tony) Cook of Rapid City; grandchildren, Amanda M Polmanteer, and Brandon Lee Palmanteer, both of Rapid City; siblings, Gerald W. Frey and James P Frey, both of PA, Mary (Samuel) Petrucelli of WV, and Virginia Ray of FL.
John was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lucinda D Frey; and a brother, Lawrence A Frey.
A memorial service will be held on Thu, Sep 22, at 3 pm at the Kalkaska United Methodist Church with Pastor Bob Stark officiating. The family will receive visitors at 2:30 pm.
