John E. Rhoat, 45, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away on Dec 29, 2008. Born on Jan 25, 1963, he was the son of the late Gordon A. and Linda (Schmidt) Rhoat.
John worked at Denny's in Tampa for the past six years. He loved to cook. John was a wonderful brother and would speak with his sister, Amiee daily.
Surviving John are his siblings; Dan Rhoat of Kalkaska, Ann (Todd) Newberry of Kingsley, and Amiee (George) Raymond of Kalkaska, and nieces and nephews; Dan, Shanda, and Amber Rhoat.
There will be a memorial service on Sat, Feb 7, at the Family of God Christian Fellowship Church in Kalkaska. Pastor James Hagler will be officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
