Mrs. Joan Y. Dorman, 59, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Nov 14, 1994, at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Dorman had been a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska area, and enjoyed flower gardening and traveling.
Born in Kalkaska on Mar 21, 1935, she was the daughter of Howard and Opal Green Ramsey. She was married to Ralph Waltz who preceded her in death on Aug 20, 1991. On Jun 17, 1994, she married Marion Dorman who died on Jul 15, 1994.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Howard Ramsey, and one brother, Jack Ramsey.
Surviving are two sons, James and Thomas (Kris) Waltz both of Kalkaska; one daughter, Mrs. William (Vickie) Watson of Mancelona; her mother, Opal Ramsey of Kalkaska; four brothers, Howard, Jr. and Richard Ramsey both of Kalkaska, Gale Ramsey of Lansing, and Jerry Ramsey of Escanaba; four sisters, Carolyn Prentice, Bonnie Prentice, Dorothy McCauley, and Barbara Przbylski all of Kalkaska; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Tue, Nov 22, 1994 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Scott Rhoades, pastor of the New Life Assembly of God, officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
