Joan M Benventano, 76, of Kalkaska, passed away on Sun, Mar 18, 2007, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center- LTC. Born on Feb 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John and Velma (Hawkes) Gault.
Joan graduated in 1949, from Lincoln Consolidated High School. She married Louis R Benventano on Jun 13, 1964, in Chula Vista, CA.
Joan was a resident of Kalkaska since 1999, moving from Gaylord. She was a member of the Michigan Trail Riders and the Kalkaska Garden Club. Joan loved the outdoors, nature, and snowmobiling.
Surviving Joan is her daughter in law, Cheryl Benventano of Dublin, CA; her grandchildren, Brian (Amy) Benventano of Beaverton, OR and Bruce (Rhonda) Benventano of Elk Grove, CA; and four great grandchildren; dear friend of many years, Tom Simrak of Alden.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, in 1974; and her brother, John Gault during WWII.
Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti.
