Jill Ann Lake, 66, of Kalkaska, previously of Clarkston, passed away May 7, 2009, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born Jul 24, 1942, in Toledo, OH, to the late Gellett Emerson and Shirley (Dryer) Miller.
Jill married John Russell Lake on Feb 8, 1969, in Pontiac. She was a surgical nurse at St Josephs Hospital in Pontiac.
Jill loved being outdoors and enjoying nature. Some of her favorite activities included horseback riding, water skiing, and boating. She also liked to paint and to go bowling.
Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family. Jill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her dear husband of 40 years, John; her wonderful son, Christopher Lake, of Owosso, and her precious grandson, Nicholas Lake, also of Owosso.
Visitation for Jill was held Sat, May 10, 2009 from 4 to 8 pm at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
The funeral service was on Mon at 2 pm with Rev. Barbara Hoig, Munson Hospice Chaplin officiating.
