Jessica Marie Gerring, 7, of Kalkaska, died Wed, Nov 7, 1993, at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor following a lifelong battle with heart disease.
Jessica was born in Traverse City on Jun 5, 1986, to Scot and Charlotte (Diane) Bell Gerring. At the time of her death, she was a first grade student at the Kalkaska Cherry Street School.
Surviving are her mother, Charlotte (Diane) Gerring of Kalkaska; her father and stepmother, Scot and Rita Gerring of Kalkaska; one sister, Jennifer Gerring of Kalkaska; two brothers, James Gerring and Matthew Dorman both of Kalkaska; her maternal grandfather, Lyle Bell of Ann Arbor; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Gerring of South Boardman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Norma Jean Bell.
Funeral services were held Mon, Nov 22, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Michael Steere officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery.
