Jennie O. Way, 83, of Traverse City, died April 23, 1990, at Munson Medical Center.
A resident of Torch River for over 60 years, she had owned Way's Market at Torch River Bridge. She was an avid bowler and belonged to various bowling leagues.
Born in Waynesburg, Ohio, on April 20, 1907, she was the daughter of William A. and Vinnie C. (Shively) Born. On Oct 12, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, she married Daniel S. Way, who preceded her in death in 1966.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Linda) Wangbichler of Bellaire and Mrs. Paul (Jojo) Russell of Elk Rapids; and a grandchild.
Graveside services were held Wednesday at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Gordon E. Spalenka officiated.
