Mrs. Jean Shattuck, 66, of Rt. 2, Fife Lake, died early Saturday morning, Dec 2, 1978, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Shattuck was born in Oakland County on April 21, 1912, the daughter of Ronald and Sybil Goodrich McDonald. On August 7, 1961, she was united in marriage with Merton W. Shattuck in Lakeville, Mich.
She had been a resident of Fife Lake area for the past 8 years after moving here from Leonard, MI.
She is survived by her husband, Merton; 2 sons, Ronald Arntz of New Jersey, and Donald Arntz of Pontiac; 4 step sons, Robert Shattuck of Lake Orion, David Shattuck of Rochester, and Raymond and Timothy Shattuck, both at home; 1 sisters; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec 4, 1978, at the Schwartz-Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Rev. L.W. Crippen officiated. Burial was in Springfield Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
