Jay A. Doe, 92, of Kalkaska passed away on Jun 12, 2004, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center- Long Term Care.
Doe was born on Feb 29, 1912, in Bad Axe, the son of Joseph and Lea (Santhany) Doe.
Jay married Laura Compau on Aug 6, 1921, in Lincoln Park. Jay was a resident of Kalkaska since 1960. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Lions Club.
Jay is survived by his son, Wilfred "Bud" (Bonnie) Doe of AZ; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and dear friend, Mildred Giganti of South Boardman.
Jay was preceded in death by his wife Laura; and his son, Jake Doe.
A funeral service was held on Mon, Jun 14, at Wolfe Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Kuiper of Evergreen Bible Baptist Church officiating. Interment was at Evergreen Cemetery.
