Jason M. Thompson, 17, of South Boardman, died Monday, July 2, 1990, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Jason moved to South Boardman two years ago from Madison Heights. He was a 1990 graduate of Forest Area High School. While in high school, he was a member of the Business Club, and played baseball and basketball. He was a member of the U.S. Marine Reserves.
Jason was born in Royal Oak on October 22, 1972, to Samuel and Sherrie Robison Thompson.
He is survived by his mother, Sherrie Robison of Mio; his father and stepmother, Samuel and Margaret Thompson of South Boardman; one brother, Josh Thompson of Mio; two half brothers, Todd Thompson of Berkley, and Raymond Thompson of South Boardman; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Annabelle Robison of Madison Heights; his paternal grandmother, Marjorie Thompson of South Boardman; his paternal great-grandmother, Alvira Thompson of Pinceton, Indiana; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 5, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Gary Wales officiated. Graveside services will be held Thursday at All Faiths Cemetery in Empire.
