Janine Lynn DiDonato, 60, of Englewood, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Tidewell Englewood Hospice House.
She was born Dec. 11, 1954, in Royal Oak, to Donald E. and Frieda M. (nee Glaysher) Schaffner. Janine moved to Florida 40 years ago from Warren, Mich.
She was the owner/ operator Englewood Coney Island Restaurant for many years. Survivors include son, Matthew DiDonato of Englewood; sister, Nancy Eickstedt; brothers, Gary Schaffner, Michael Schaffner and David Tennant; best friend, Sandy Davis; and many other family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
