James L Wilson II, 64, of Kalkaska died Thu, Nov 28, 1996, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Wilson moved to Kalkaska County nine years ago from Flint. He was a retired truck driver, and was a member of the Mancelona Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Wilson was born on Jan 13, 1932, in Saginaw, to James and Beulah Pyne Wilson.
Surviving are sons, Jay and Scott Wilson both of Flint, James L. Wilson III of Manistee and Deene Robinson of Alden; daughter Deborah Wilson of Flint; sister Beatrice Sherbert of Mancelona; his companion Diane Barnett of Kalkaska; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. His brother Andrew and sisters, Thelma, Ruth, and Betty preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of The Peoples Church officiated. Cremation followed funeral services.
