James Herbert Revell died yesterday evening at his residence in Pecktonville, aged 84 years.
He was a retired grocer and nurseryman. Born in Botwell, Canada, he was the son of Samuel and Mary Cooper Revell.
He had resided in this area for 33 years, and was a member of Parkhead Evangelical Church.
Surviving are sons, Walter J, South Bend, IN; Carlton C, Hagerstown; Francis E, Big Pool; Lawrence H, Louisville, KY; Bonnie H, Big Pool; daughters, Mrs. Eva R. DeVane, St Petersburg, FL; Mrs. Mildred Norris, Orrtanna, PA; 29 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Mon at 2pm from the Rowland Funeral Home, Clear Spring, the Rev. Charles A Bailey and the Rev William F. Murray officiating with interment in St Pauls Cemetery.
