Funeral services for Pvt James McCulley, 20 , of the US Army, who died Nov 4 in Alaska as the result of an accident while on a training mission, were conducted at 2 pm Tue in the Pomeroy Funeral Home.
He served with Company C, ABN, Sixth Battalion, Ninth Infantry.
Rev. Bruce George, pastor of First United Presbyterian Church, officiated.
Private McCulley was born Sep 25, 1948, in Croswell. He married Carolotta Willis, Oct 5, 1968, i Croswell.
He is survived by his widow; his mother, Mrs. Shirley McCulley; two brothers, Richard and Gerald McCulley; a sister, Miss Judy McCulley; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ora McCulley, all of Croswell, and a grandmother, Mrs. Albert Stewart, Monroe.
Burial was in Croswell Cemetery.
