James C. Sewell, 3202 Fielding, age 80, died Sat, Nov 14, 1970 at Vassar Rest Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday at Mt. Vernon Chapel, Brown Funeral Home, Mr. James A Harmon officiating. Burial in Grace Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Sewell will lie in state at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd. Mr. Sewell was born in Shepherd, MI, Sep 8, 1890 and had been a resident of Flint since 1916. He was a Charter Member of Flint Jehovah Witness and had been employed at Chevrolet Manufacturing for 15 years. Surviving are: wife, Anna E; 2 daughters, Mrs. Fred (Theta) Barnefske of Flint and Mrs. Clyde (June) Morrissett of Beaverton; son, Clifford A. of Houston, TX; 5 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Chester of McBride, Albert of Lansing, and Silas of IA; nieces and nephews.
