James A. Daroci, 67, of Kalkaska passed away on Feb 7, 2006, at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. 

Born on Nov 22, 1938 in New Boston, he was the son of Joseph and Ethel (Nolff) Walters. 

James served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a resident of Kalkaska since 1988 moving from Bellville. 

James enjoyed his South Boardman Bowling League and his membership in the American Legion Post No 480 in Kalkaska. He also enjoyed working on small engine repair, fishing, occasional camping, riding motorcycles, and helping people. 

Surviving James is his dear friend and companion, Sandy Riddle; mother, Ethel Walters of Kalkaska; sister, Joan Lawson of Bellville; brothers, Henry Daroci of Bellville and Donald Daroci of Roscommon; and many nieces and nephews. 

Preceding James in death is his father, Joseph Walters; sister, Shirley Hella; and brother, Joseph Daroci. 

Cremation has taken place per James wishes and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. 

Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home.
