Jacqueline “Jackie” Dee Whittig, 68, passed away at 9:27 pm Wed, Sep 2, 2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Jun 6, 1952 in Hartford City to Jack Dillard Turner and Geraldine L (Michael) Turner. Her parents preceded her in death.
Jackie graduated from Blackford High School in 1971. She married Bayard “Bud” Martin Whittig Jr on Jul 31, 1971 in Eaton.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed being outside especially mowing her yard and swimming. She loved going to yard sales.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Bud Whittig of Hartford City; son, Jamie A. (wife, Amie) Whittig of Hartford City; daughter, Shawna L Whittig of Eaton; grandchildren, Alex Whittig, Easton Whittig, and Jenna Coffman; brother, Michael Turner of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her sister, Linda L Michael.
Graveside service will be at 1 pm Wed, Sep 9, 2020 at Hartford City Cemetery.
