Jack N Herauf, 71, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Nov 6, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
He was born in Milwaukee, WI, Ju 28, 1929, the son of John and Loraine Newton Herauf.
He was a retired railroad engineer who enjoyed model trains and dogs. He resided in Largo, FL, prior to moving to Kalkaska in 1993.
Surviving are sons Walter Jewell of Rochester Hills, John Herauf of Kalkaska, and David Herauf of Romulus; daughters Cheri Santo of Kalkaska and Lori VandenBosch of Mancelona; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by former wife, Irene Blankenship.
Graveside services were held Nov 9 at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
