Izia L. Annand of Sault Ste Marie, passed away at Tendercare Nursing Home on Mar 15, 2011. She was born on May 9, 1920. Mrs. Annand worked for many years at War Memorial Hospital as a Nurse Aid. She was previously employed at the Sault Theater.
Surviving Izia Annand are her sons, Cecil (Marlene) St. John of South Carolina, Larry (Linda) Annand of Kincheloe; daughters, Arlene Palmer of Alcorn, WI, and Laura (Steve) Martinez of St. Joseph, MN. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Izia was preceded in death by her parents and her three brothers.
Visitation will be held at Hovie Funeral Home on Sat, Mar 19, 2011 from 9 to 11am. Funeral services will be held at 11am at Hovie Funeral Home also on Sat with Rev Tom Cash officiating. Burial will be at Donaldson Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be left to the Munson Medical Center.
