Ivan L. Washburn, 55, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 1990 at Lakeview Lutheran Manor in Cadillac.
Mr. Washburn had resided in the Lapeer, Kalkaska, and Mesick areas. He was a well driller. He had been in the U.S. Navy Air Force and was a mechanic for the Blue Angels.
Mr. Washburn was born in Bruce Crossing on Dec. 4, 1934 to George James and Zelma Pratt Washburn.
He is survived by one son, David of Flint; two daughters, Mrs. Wally (Coleen) Noll of Metamora and Mrs. Eric (Linda) Friesen of Flint; his mother Mrs. Edgar (Zelma) Walker of Elsie, three brothers, J.D. Washburn and Elwin Washburn of St. Johns and George Washburn of Port Charlotte, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. George (Vivian) Huntington of Slidell, La.; four grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, George.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept 8 at Osgood Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Fischer officiated. Burial was in Dimondale Cemetery.
